January 30th, 2009Reason to Give has been featured in the January 30th issue of The DePaulia, the student newspaper of DePaul University. The article by Jeremy Mikula details a little of our history and our organization. It also highlights our efforts and many of our most recent successes. We are pleased to report that we’ve already received positive responses from readers.
Reason to Give featured as “Today’s Candy”
January 2nd, 2009Daily Candy Chicago, a fashion and lifestyle daily e-newsletter, recently featured Reason to Give’s work supporting residents of Humboldt Park on January 2nd’s Daily Candy. Thanks to the “Today’s Candy” feature, Reason to Give received a HUGE number of hits and generated several hundred dollars in donations, not to mention people as far away as California were sending us emails of encouragement.

Reason To Give Launch Party Sets Things In Motion
February 12th, 2008Amidst the chaos and cold of the holiday season, 50 of our closest friends, colleagues and neighborhood allies showed their support and joined us for the launch of Firebelly Foundation’s new nonprofit, Reason To Give.
Thrilled to be amongst the first to donate, our generous guests met the needs of several families that night. Items made possible where a new stove, a new bed and bedding, kitchen appliances and warm winter clothes. Watch one of the success stories.
